What is Luma Genie?
Genie is Luma AI's text-to-3D generator — notable for being free and fast, producing four candidate meshes per prompt in under a minute. It made a splash at launch and still gets cited among the top generators, including in Google's AI Overview.
Luma's main focus has since shifted to its video models (Dream Machine), so Genie develops more slowly than the dedicated 3D competitors — but as a free option it remains excellent value.
